Autumn alter ego

Not all images of fall colors have to be retina searing with saturation to get across the central theme – that of change happening at different times for different objects.  With the judicious use of filters (a la B&W film) and some software tricks, those expected autumnal hues can become shades of grey, enabling the viewer to “see” the structure of the image without being interrupted by the colors.
