Our temporary garden

ISO 100, 93mm, 1/30 sec., f/2.8

Rainstorms yesterday, bringing the first really good amount of water I’ve seen here.  A good drenching brings out the transient forest denizens, popping up among the litter on the forest floor to show off for just a day or so.  Some show up in crowds and some as singular entities depending on their type of mycological society.  With the overcast sky giving an even light from above this newly emerged mushroom fairly glows in the subdued light under the trees.
