Wonder what happens when you process a color digital image like an infrared one?
Looks like it turns into a nice B&W image.
What attracted me about this composition originally is the shadow of a high limb on the upper left of this knob, combined with the shadow being cast by the knob itself. The two dark areas bracket the lighter top of the round surface. It gives it even more dimensionality than one shadow alone. Processing as B&W just emphasizes the tones.
Everything doesn’t have to be a grand landscape to be interesting…
